Full Fibre 900 Install

Good morning

So I'm getting Full Fibre 900 next week and seen that we can use our own routers.

"ASUS DSL-AX82U (AX5400) Dual Band WiFi 6 Extendable xDSL Modem Gaming Router, Gaming Port, Mobile Game Mode, Aura RGB, Included AiProtection Pro Security, Instant Guard, VPN, AiMesh Compatible"

I currently have TP-Link 9020P V4's providing a 1400mbps network through my house which I bought last weekend so I can take them back if need be to get the above router instead.

Will this router work on the BT service or does anyone have an alternative?

Please remove the link to Amazon as it is against forum rules to post links to e-commerce sites.

You don't need the DSL version of the Asus with full fibre as the ONT is the modem, you need the RT version of any Asus router you are considering.

Bear in mind you will not have access to BT Digital Voice with a third party router.
