I've brought a new build back in 2013. Fast forward 10 years later fibre has now move into my area. I order it from a provider however on the day of installation they notice a blockage. On closer inspection the line was just burried and not in any ducting.

Whos responsibility it is to provide ducting to my house in order for me to get fibre

You ordered FTTP from a provider, seems a little vague ( possibly intentionally so ) , it does matter which ISP you have used , so which provider ?, if it’s not BT , then your issue needs to be addressed via whoever it was that you made your order with .

If you’ve ordered FTTP using BT’s Access Network then it’ll be Openreach who will dig and provide Ducting.

If it’s an Alt Net using the Openreach Network via PIA then they’re responsible for Digging and providing the Duct.
