      <description>&lt;P&gt;The SH2 ( if that’s the router in question) will work with FTTC/ADSL as well as FTTP , so as stated , if you have BT FTTP , its an unused socket , if you have FTTC or ADSL then it’s connected to the copper pair phone line&lt;/P&gt;</description>
