      <title>Maximum available speed halved in a week.</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am having to renew my broadband package but the maximum speed available has dropped from guaranteed 67 mb to 27mb.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No matter what package I try the max speed always comes back as 27mb, when for the past 4 years I have received 77mb.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have been trying all week to get someone to understand what is actually going on and was told there is nothing they can do and I should contact Openreach, I have contacted Openreach and they told me they only communicate with my ISP.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It is frustrating because I'm being told my max speed is 27mb when it has been 77mb for the past 3 years, I live in a block of flats and if I change my door number to any other number in my block I am able to get the guaranteed 67mb option again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It makes no sense, can anyone please help?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;As long as your actual speed remains unchanged it doesn't really matter what your projected speed is. You get whatever your line is capable of, renewing package won't change anything.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;What is your actual speed as reported by your hub, not the projected speed.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It is not clear what speed you are talking about&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If your actual speed has dropped, then you have a fault.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Ethernet, I don't think the problem is with my equipment because an engineer came yesterday and said everything was ok and after a test said I can get upto 85mb.&lt;BR /&gt;But the system BT use to check what packages they can offer me says max 27mb, and it makes no sense because you can just change the flat number to any other one in my block and it offers full speeds.</description>

&lt;P&gt;Do you have a home phone not on digital voice?&amp;nbsp; If so check for dial tone as the reduction in speed can be caused by a wire disconnected in your phone socket&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't hear any noise on the line, an Openreach engineer came out yesterday said he found a fault at the exchange and fixed it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;He then done a line check and said I should be able to get 85mb.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But like I say I cant get a contract for any speeds over 30mb with any ISP unless I change my flat number to nextdoor.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you don't have digital voice and you cannot hear the dial tone on your phone then you need to report a phone fault not a broadband fault. Get phone working and broadband speed will return to'normal'&lt;/P&gt;</description>
