      <title>Full Fibre Cables are up. When can I expect to CONNECT?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Openreach have been working around our village and were hung past my house last week.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When and who should I contact regarding getting it into my house and connected. I ask because I do not have a clue.&lt;BR /&gt;I spoke to My BT customer service and they couldn't say and were no help at all!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Could anyone give me a clue as to who is best to contact...and possibly a rough idea of how long after the wires/cables are in the street before maybe it could be possible to get myself connected?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you in advance for anything I can learn from you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It could be weeks of months because the actual fibre cabling is only part of the work that needs completing the upgrade. You'll be notified by BT and Openreach when it's ready.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Thanks for responding.&lt;BR /&gt;I tend to agree. I did ask the Openreach lads doing the wires/cable on the day and they said possibly within a month, but after me asking BT and getting no positivity. I just thaught I'd ask the community.&lt;BR /&gt;I guess patience is a virtue!</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just keep checking here until you see FTTP available then place your order. I would add I was able to order in about 2 weeks after the cables were added to the poles&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>Have you tried checking with your ISP of choice if you can order a full fibre package, if you got the email saying its available at your adress you should be able to.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When I got it a few years back I was able to order pretty much instantly</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just be aware, there is often a delay between Openreach sending that email and the ISP's ordering system catching up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In my case, BT was about a week before I could order but I noticed at the time that Sky was more like 6 weeks (and their forum says that is typical).&amp;nbsp; I suspect the rest will be somewhere in between.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

When I came to my last renewal, I found OR options very limited so next time around, I might end up having a CF ONT fitted which is annoying but at least we'll be well covered on fibre options. We've got VM, OR and CF on our street &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":grinning_squinting_face:"&gt;😆&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.bt.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/214496"&gt;@NigelB72&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;So have I but the CF infrastructure is positioned so it can't connect to OR's ducts even with PIA.&amp;nbsp; Consequently, CF wanted to dig a commnual drive shared by four households.&amp;nbsp; (I know VM can use the ducts as I watched them put it through the ducts two years ago, when next door went with them).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Long story short, BT had got their act together in the meantime and finally offered me a sensible price for a change.&amp;nbsp; Ended up on FF150 for the same price as a new customer...so there is hope.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
