Fibre installed

I'm a bit confused if I have fibre or not have a look at this photo.

I have recently had Openreach down my road they have installed a cbt. Do I have fibre if not how can I get it (Preferably Free)?

No, you don't have fibre as it is not available to you. You would know if you had, as you would have had a new fibre cable fitted with an optical modem (ONT) installed instead of your master socket.

Yes but I mean is it avaliable for me to get an ONT. We have a cbt on out pole but am I able to get an ont yet??

As stated previously, no.

Just because a CBT has been fitted it doesn't mean the rest of the fibre infrastructure has been completed.

Keep checking , when the CBT has been commissioned and ready for service, the DSL checker will show WBC FTTP as available, there is lots more to providing FTTP that simply putting a CBT at the top of a pole but with luck it should not take too long for the checker to indicate FTTP as available
