Just thought I'd add that power cycling the ONT seems to fix the issue for a while

Could our ONT be broken?

Hi We've got FTTP broadband and every night there's a long up to 2 hour period where the broadband just spikes with tons of ping issues making online gaming unplayable due to lag and teleporting around

Here's our ping readings

Here's what we've tried:
-Replacing our smarthub with a new one
-Replacing our smarthub with a 3rd party router
-Rebooting the router
-Calling BT having the automated system check the line and "refresh" the hub
-Directly plugging a laptop into the hub via ethernet (still has these spikes)

-Power cycling the ONT on the wall

It has been like this for nearly a month the issue is inconsistent but very annoying.

The online checker says that there's no services issues in my area.

I'm just not entirely sure what's going on and we'd love a solution.

Thanks in advance.
