&lt;P&gt;I suspect that if its cable damage, then any copper cable would have also been damaged, so you would be no better off.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It's totally pathetic, as usual from BT, like their website that only fills the pages with ads to upgrade packages.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Our Landline is Digital now, so using the fault checker is useless as that's only for copper lines and of course says there's no issues - we've had NO fibre since I reported it on 12th November.&amp;nbsp; None of us in the village have it and service won't be back until at least the 2nd December.&amp;nbsp; I only know this because of the priority contact&amp;nbsp; / callback service they have linked me to - to save wasting hours of my life on a the phone listening to C-R-A-P rap.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Why nobody at BT has any common sense and just allows you to use a postcode to check all services is beyond me -&amp;nbsp; a 2 year old could of worked that one out rather than using a the old copper landline check that's defunct for us.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And While I'm at it another negative - without Fibre, no landline and no way on God's earth to divert calls to a mobile.&amp;nbsp; Utterly pathetic in this day and age.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
