Smarthub Question

Hi, my smarthub has died. It won't turn on, even with a different power adapter. I don't want a smarthub 2, I want a replacement smarthub so I can correctly split the 2.4ghz and 5ghz wireless frequencies. Before I waste my time on the phone, will BT give me a replacement smarthub, or a smarthub 2? It would be helpful to know, because if it's a smarthub 2, then I can just buy a secondhand smarthub from elsewhere. Thanks a lot for your help.

It will most likely be a Smarthub2.

Buy what you want form ebay or Amazon then but you will need a Smart Hub 2 for Digital Voice when it is forced on you.

It will be a Smart Hub 2, my mum had a replacement for her smart hub the other week and a smart hub 2 arrived - was told they don't do the smart hub any more. As @HHGTTG mentioned when you go to digital voice you would need a Smart Hub 2 anyway.
