Sounds like an issue with either the LAN Port on the ONT or with the Router itself.

Don’t suppose you have a spare Hub to try do you?

If the "Openreach box", (the ONT or Optical Network Terminal), is working it suggests the router has died. Not unusual with old electronics that have been running for a long time and then go cold in a power cut. Like the old light bulbs, it’s when you turn them on again that they blow. Are there any lights on the router and if so, what colour are they?

This is just a customer-to-customer help forum and the only BT employees are the moderators, so if it is dead, you’ll need to phone it in to customer services tomorrow.
