You've got a 4G mini hub yhat you will most ilkely never use because you purchased your full firbre broadband with Halo 3 add on. Why do you need an addon? Did you know it was an add on?. Your phone line is on digital not fibre, do you actually need a home phone now? You could always port that number to another provider if you need it. This will also release you from using the BT Router.

Personally I would never have agreed to the above (halo 3 and digital phone) as they would be of no benefit to me.

If anyone from BT who would like to persuede me otherwise fell free to try.

BB with Halo3.

Just been upgraded to full fibre....from the nearest telegraph pole.

Was happy with previous part fibre but all is well with the 20% increase in downloads and a 4 times increase in upload.

Telephone was also upgraded to fibre.

I've just got notification that I will receive a G4 Mini Hub.

As I don't need any changes to what I have....what is it for?

Please!

4G rather than G4.

It's a failover device for when/if your broadband fails and is part of the Halo 3+ package.

However, now you are on full fibre failure of your broadband will be much less likely.

pippincp Thanks we do need to keep our 'digital' landline number for a while as we have many contacts......We both have well used modern mobiles, and we both have up to date PC's, but are only slowly gathering our old contacts to them.
Generally things tend to move a little slower now we are well into our 80's.
