Not aware of anything ‘round’ that Openreach use in their FTTP network, whatever it is though it’s not a splitter , a splitter is external device in the network not inside someone’s home …post a picture of it .

Hi, I have BT broadband installed at home. I know it's fibre optic, But I can't figure out what is this little round white box? I keep reading the word 'Splitter' or 'splicer', Is this it?

Do you live in a house or a flat?

If it’s the latter and you do have FTTP suspect you’re talking about the InvisiLight Spool Box, not entirely sure of its actual name.

Basically there’s a length of fibre inside, usually 30m with Connectors pre-made at each end. One goes into the Breakout Box and the other into the ONT. The Engineer when installing will only spool off the length they need and the rest remain in the box.
