Red Connector Ethernet Cable vs any other Ethernet cable

Hi all,

I have just received my Smart Hub 2 which contains a cable with red connectors to connect the router to the ONT.

My router will be quite far from the ONT so I would just like to confirm that I can use any Cat6e cable to connect the two regardless of the colour of the RJ45connectors (the red ends only being there to help people by colour-coding the correct ports).

Yes you can use ant CAT5e or above for the connection. The plug colour means nothing exxcept to make things easier to explain to non techies, eg, connect the red cable here etc.
