web protect may cause problems but there is no smart setup anymore.

you could try turning of router and wait 10/15 min and turn back on and get different IP address see if that helps

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with my website when accessing it through BT Broadband. The website is hosted on a third-party server and typically loads fine on other ISPs and even on mobile data. However, when I access it via BT Broadband, the loading times are noticeably slower, especially for media-rich pages.

I’ve already:

Cleared my browser cache and tried different devices.

Checked my website's performance using tools like GTmetrix and PageSpeed Insights, which show good scores.

Confirmed that other websites load quickly on the same connection.

Verified with my hosting provider that there are no server-side issues.

Could there be some routing issue specific to BT's network? Would enabling BT Web Protect or Smart Setup affect the connection to my site? Has anyone faced similar issues or have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi, If you are still experiencing this, call BT, or unconnect some devices.
