    <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The power supply was provided by bt and is badged bt/ee&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;bt no longer support it .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ee don’t want it ether&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It’s redundant&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Modem power supply</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Can I open a bt fttp modem and remove the power cable which in my case it appears is wired into a battery backup ?&lt;BR /&gt;I thought I was moving to ee and had a battery backup to my router removed from my account to allow this -&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;a red flag still shows on my account so ee need to write to openreach to remove this .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No one from EeOr Bt on the three hours of calls made so far mentioned this till today …&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;battery backup in remote areas with poor / no mobile signal was offcom recommended-once .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any advise on the modem please ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This all sounds a bit odd. Never heard of an ISP having to "support" a BBU. If it's what I think it is it's largely redundant anyway &amp;amp; can be just be bypassed by taking the power cable from the BBU, unplugging the ONT &amp;amp; connecting the BBU power cable in it's place. Maybe post a pic of what you have.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
