Fibre 2 Essentials tariff (FTTC)

Hi,

My area has recently been upgraded to FTTP and I was just wondering, as I'm on the essentials tariff (social tariff), can I upgrade to FTTP but stay on the same tariff? If so, will this happen automatically or do I need to contact BT?

I understand the speeds would be the same, but I'd like to have the extra reliability of FTTP.

i dont think there is one for FTTP yet only FTTC

I would expect it to be something automatic when your essential package is due for renewal and reviewed to ensure you are still eligible
