Full Fibre Broadband Coming To Me ?

FYI.
I've received an email from BT, indicating that Openreach will be contacting me, with a view to install a Free-Upgrade to Full-Fibre, in my area.
I live on an art-deco, conservation area plot; with no direct service-pipe access to the 9xbuildings, in order to provide fibre to any of the properties. The plot has been afforded surface bulk-fibre to each communal access, by the Freeholder doing a deal with an alternate Full Fibre Provider Network.
I'm going to go with any contact from BT/Openreach, just to see where it goes. Watch this space !

If the freeholder has done a deal with an alt net provider I cannot see Openreach getting wayleave to install their own fibre.

Whoever @ BT/Openreach is pushing out Full-Fibre-4-All; the upgrades per customer, look to be issued on an individual job basis. I'll book an am/pm slot to facilitate access. There's 12properties in the communal vertical access, I'm at the top.
Openreach (nominates Openreach, not an Openreach Partner) will find that this's a complex job, that'll probably be furthered-back ? I will volunteer my valuable time FOC, to ease the process.

Bank Holiday Weekend !

Bit bored. I decided to have a drains-up on the 'Freebie-Upgrade-eMail'.
I suspect it's legitimise from BT@updates.bt.com, on the other hand could always be spoofed.
Closer inspection : the Account No IS NOT MY ACCOUNT No. IMMEDIATELY, IT'S A SCAM !
Logged into My Account, not my account number. I've no fluid Orders in the pipeline. SCAM !

So, I've forwarded the eMail to phishing@bt.com, to see what they make of it ?
It could just be an ill-conceived, badly constructed info-eMail, the shape of things to comes ?
Never thought I'd find a new vocation, FORENSIC eMAIL ANALYST. Ho-hum ! BE SAFE OUT THERE !
