I think you're referring to band 20 / 800MHz which most MVNOs do not have access to when they use the EE network.

BT Mobile does not have this restriction, users also have 5G, VoLTE and VOWi-fi.

Hi all,

BT owns EE, but is still a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO). Do BT Mobile customers get access to all frequency bands used by EE?

I have read that Plusnet Mobile (another BT company!) doesn't have access to all EE frequency bands.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Mike

They are not frequency bands, they are virtual paths and timeslots on the same transmitter. It would depend on how many paths are assigned to BT mobile customers, but I would expect it to be similar to EE. I would imagine this information is commercially sensitive.
