Charges in Singapore

Hello,

I apologise if this is a stupid question. I am travelling to Singapore next month and was wondering what charges (if any) I would incur for texting another UK mobile whilst they are also in Singapore, or calling them. I gather data roaming is very expensive so will use Wi-Fi but when I’m out and about I will want to text when I’m exploring the city.

Hi, @EmR welcome to the community and thanks for posting, that's not a stupid question. To text when in Singapore it will cost 44p and calls will cost £1.59/min

If your phone can take an eSIM you can get a data only eSIM that will work out a lot cheaper than roaming from your mobile provider.

Google eSIM for Roaming.
