Network Provider Settings Update - is it safe?

My sister keeps getting this pop-up on her iPhone and is concerned it may be an attempt to access her phone foe dodgy purposes. She's on the BT Mobile network.

I've only ever used Android phones but can't ever recall receiving a request from my network provider to update settings.

Has anyone else out there with an iPhone received this and is it safe to install?

Well I hope it's safe as I updated my settings today. I'm on BT mobile as well btw.
