BT or not BT pop up

Hi all.

Wifey keeps getting this pop up on her samsung galaxy phone, on BT mobile.

Suspect it's not a genuine advert for BT.

I have run an AVG scan, nothing gets picked up.

Any thoughts?

Given that Samsung are about to release the S23, a prize of an S20 seems fairly unlikely.

Edit: This is similar from 2020:

Googling “BT pop up scam” produces several similar threads over the years.

Hi @Devon_Dave That's a scam, if your wife is using the chrome browser on her phone there is an option in the browser settings to block pop-ups.

Today, June 11th 2024, this same scam has ‘popped up’ on IPad using Safari, how do I block pop ups?
