I recently moved both my BT sims to EE eSims and it’s been a nightmare getting the eSims to work. 90 mins on the phone to BT/EE. So it seems they have to send out physical Sims and then I can convert to eSim. I was really happy with BT (20 years strong) but this merger with EE is like a lead balloon. Is anyone else having the same issues?

As you are now an EE customer, you need to post on the EE forum https://community.ee.co.uk/

EE are a separate company within the BT Group.

Except that BT considers they and EE are the same company when it suits them - such as if you, as a BT customer, try to get a new customer deal with EE. That's not allowed because, as a BT customer, you are considered to be an existing customer of EE as well.

Yep, somehow I feel duped. Also I now have EU roaming charges that I didn’t have before.
