Just got emails from BT mobile to say data allowance (10G) used up while roaming in Italy. Ok it's a fair cop! Suggests to check myBT app, which says I have used 1.3Gb. looks like it doesn't include non UK data. Now using partner's [non BT]mobile as a hot spot. Probably time to move away from BT mobile to someone else that still includes EU roaming. Could buy additional data, but it silly money.

Just wanted to know if non reporting of roaming data was a known issue with myBT, just poor in terms of customer experience.

Bt do have free EU roaming but EE mobile do not

Indeed: included roaming, hence why I'm still with BTmobile, not EE. Question was about invisible usage using the BT app. Unlike my other mvno that says I have used 7 of 15 GB.

If this is the case then making others aware might be useful. Allowance renews tomorrow, so problem goes away!
