halo 3 still shows double data as a benefit so you could try billing using message now and see if they can help or redirect you

Broadband | BT Help

Full Fibre Halo 3 - No Double Data?

Hi

I've been on BT Halo 3 and Fibre for years - then 2 weeks ago I upgraded to Full Fibre with Halo 3. I've since noticed that my Double Data on my 4 BT Mobile devices shows as being active, but it actually isn't, and we're running out of data.

I just called Customer Support, and after 40 minutes on hold while they investigated, I've just been told that Halo 3 no longer includes Double Data ... contrary to what the website and MyBT and everything that I can read online says ... including the Your Products page.

Anyone had this happen or heard of this? The operator's only solution was to migrate all the phones to EE, which I refused.

Any insights appreciated.

Again it appears you only get double data if you transfer to EE.

BT mobile should just close down if it doesn't want to keep it's customers

Having said that I was with BT mobile for simply ever then come renewal time I was seduced by unlimited everything and TNT sports for £24...still today only paying £26

Point being don't cut off your nose by ruling out a move to EE

In order to update this.

I called again and spoke to someone else, this time in the billing department. They advised that this was a technical error and said it would be corrected.

A few hours later Double Data was restored on my BT Mobile phone lines.

regards

Mark

I was going to say - I have not had any disruption to my double data allowance from Halo 3 so it must have been a problem with your account rather than a policy change. All mentions of the content of Halo benefits still include double data on BT Mobile.
