Can't upgrade

Hi all

Here's a good one for you all. I have 3 BTMobile SIMs from way back, which after the re-launch I want to change to the 10GB 5G plan.

One I've changed, but the other 2 BT are telling me they cannot change the plan. they can send out new SIMs but not do an internal (BT to BT PAC) so I wouldn't be able to keep my numbers.

It looks like my only alternative is to move from BT and take my numbers with me. This seems daft. Anyone seen this? Is what I've been told legit?

Thanks for coming to the community.

Did the team give a reason why you weren't able to move the two SIMs to the 10GB 5G plan?

If they are sending out new plans with new numbers, you'd not be able to move the existing numbers over, as you can't use a PAC to move within the same network.

It may be worth speaking to the team again to see if they can do anything to move them to the new plans.

In the worst case scenario, you can get a PAC for the numbers you want to keep, move them to another network temporarily, then get a PAC from that network to move them back on to the new SIM cards to retain the number.
