Roaming on the Isle of Jersey - no longer available on the mobile phone

My daughter has a mobile phone paid for my me through my BT account. She moved to Jersey a few months ago and last week her mobile phone stopped roaming. She did not change any of the settings and has now gone through the BT help actions to get it working again without success. She mostly uses wifi to download data but occasionally uses roaming. All was well until last week. Any help gratefully received.

I have her set up on a BT Mobile 6GBsingle SIM 5G plan with roam like home added.

Roaming in Jersey still appears included so is it possible you have reached your set spend cap?

Thanks imjolly, but no the spend cap is not reached

Data usage is quite low and suddenly stops after 22/07/2026

BT advise that as Jersey / Guernsey are on a roaming only service, this automatically disconnects after 90 days. Apparently not in the "UK" so different data roaming rules apply. The 90 day period starts again immediately on return to UK soil so I guess my daughter will have to visit her parents (bank of Dad) more often!
