swap add ons

My understanding is that I can swap my BT Sport package for , for example, Entertainment package at any time. I am just trying to do so but, although I can do so, it is stating this will start a new 24 month contract which I don't want to do.

Please advise.

It should only renew the 24 month term if you choose a discounted package, if you swap to a package at the standard price the minimum term shouldn't renew, do you see 2 options for the package you're trying to switch to ?

No, just the one and it has the comment stating that choosing it will start a new 24 month contract

What is the base of the package you have now and do you have an addons ? (Eg BT Sport with Entertainment pass)
What is the package you're trying to move to ?

I have Sport plus Freeview/AMC . I want to swap the Sport to Now entertainment pass for the next 2 months or so

If it's not letting you via MyBT then try calling, the number is 150 from a BT line or 0800 800 150 from any other network.

I feel like I should be able to do it. I clicked on swap I have got to a page of ' manage add ons' and the Now tv option is there to add. So, if I add it, it takes me through to checkout but, at what point, do I tell the system I want to cancel BT Sport? Does it know this or does it think I am adding Now TV as an extra?

No and I've swapped add ons before, last summer
