Cancelling TV add on package creates order which forces technician visit to set things up

Is anybody else getting this? I switch Now TV package on and off linked through BT. When cancelling, an order is created which then demands you sign up to a technician appointment 'to set things up'. I have nothing to set up, I'm just cancelling a package. I hope to find out how to cancel the appointment without making a call...
