new TV contract

Hi,

I'm looking at the £6 BT TV deal, I read this article https://www.cordbusters.co.uk/bt-netflix-now-freeview-broadband-offer/ and thought this sounds like a great deal, maybe I'll opt for BT TV this time as I also like the idea of internet freeview channels as there is a greater offering of HD content.

After looking on the BT site, I can see the £6 deal, but no mention of the free broadband for 3 months and free setup cost. Does anyone know if the BT deal does include free broadband for 3 months and free setup cost? If not I'll endure the long wait time and try calling BT for an answer. 🙂

Also I currently have a subscription for Netflix HD content (£10.99 a month), the entertainment pack comes with the Netflix SD content (£6.99 a month) subscription. I cant find anything on the BT website to state how much extra I will be changed if I wish to upgrade to the Netflix HD content, will it be £4 a month extra or will BT change me more than this?

Any help appreciated

Hi, this is on the broadband page.

No doubt if you go through the ordering process it will tell you the additional cost of upgrading your Netflix.

The Netflix upgrades would I believe be currently £4 for Standard to HD , or £9 for Standard to Premium , as a monthly addon.

As to the BT offers if I follow the links from headers on this forum (eg Broadband or TV) I believe it shows the offers.

It only says you can upgrade once activated as an additional cost

Yes It should be an additional £4, but I could not find anything that mentions it, odd as really it does not take up much room on a web page to put "£4 extra to upgrade to Netflix HD, £9 extra to upgrade to Netflix 4k".

I think the article I read seems to say the free three months of broadband is for new customers only and I can only assume the free setup charge is for also for new customers. :(, shame as I was tempted to go for the TV option.

I was looking at this offer too my install is 10 days time the £6 offer has ~20 odd days to run I once I am installed I plan to add the upgrade on. Hopefully it doesn't get pulled before then.

Did you get 3 months free Broadband as well and free setup?
