BT pro box freeze.

Does anyone else get the box freeze up when on a BT SPORT channel that has red button active. ie when European football is on press red load the splits reen press OK to watch in full screen then you cannot change channels. Remote is totally in responsive. Only way to get out of it is unplug power lead and plug back in and restart. Then when the channel you are on freezes after 10 secs and only way to get it going is to change channel up or down. Currently on software 0.7.82. Component software 4.1.22 (7e09c6).

Whilst I have not experienced a freeze such as @Anonymous I have on two recent occasions (last week and last night) found that several of the normal remote buttons were inactive. This was after I had activated the red button on ch 465 . It was if I couldn't get it deactive and be back on normal linear channel viewing mode. Whilst the channel up/down and the Now/Next buttons were nor functional, I was able to change channel by use the Home button and selecting a featured channel tile.

I'm getting the same problem, on the remote, when viewing BT Sports channels and using the Red Button - then most of the buttons don't work! Putting the box into standby then on again fixes it.

@skind56 I have tried it even when the Red Button is not active. Press red button on screen message say The Red Button is not active on this event. Press OK and the remote becomes totally useless unless press home button and go to a guide channel, and it's back working. It's fast becoming a joke of a set top box. Thinking of going to the dark side when my contract ends in August.

@DavidM Hi David is there any update on this issue. Also while on the subject of Red Button currently on BT Sport the red button header is saying Champions League Final LIVE on Bt Sport 28 May 2022🤔. Only a year out with that information. 😂
