Discovery+offer basically a con

The so-called marvellous offer of Discovery+ is basically a con. You have to activate Discovery + to access sports which you’re already paying for but is now only accessible on a mobile app via Discovery +. Using the link you receive doesn’t work so after trying unsuccessfully countless times you have to contact the BT Tech department to sort it out. But you’ve now had to give your email details to yet another organisation that’s going to sell them on. You can’t watch anything else on Discovery + that you don’t already get as part of your TV Package without “upgrading”, ie paying even more than you already are. The same goes for the Now TV addition .

If I’m wrong, then please let me know, but I can’t wait to get rid of all our add ones and just make do with Freeview and anything else we can watch through our smart tv.

It depends what package you subscribe to, if you have TNT sports on BTTV then you can watch on the Youview box, the D+ app is another option for when you're out and about, the same applies to NowTV content via BTTV as that is available on the Youview box and also via the app.

What package do you have? it sounds like you have some confusion over making the best from your subscription.

We have the basic BtTv with (now) TNT sport. The offer is worded to make you think you can get the full Discovery +and Now content

If you have TNT Sports then you get full access to everything on discovery+.
