Interesting that article says

" Live sports and other programming from Eurosport will move to the TNT channels, which are operated as a joint venture between WBD and UK telco BT."

Although I thought that the Joint venture just held (own) the combined TNT Sports and Eurosport UK rights but all operations of the TNT and Eurosport broadcasts were handled by WBD.

With the closure of Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2, WBD will have just four linear channels as opposed to six. However, Young said that WBD had been simulating schedules for the past year to ensure there were no major clashes or instances where TNT Sports would have to prioritise one sport over another.

What about the six extra TNT Sport channels? Will they not be used to handle overspill from the main four channels?

Interesting. It seems that some of Eurosports content will be shown live on Quest:

Thing is, is Quest available yet in HD on the streamed EPG through EETV, (I know it's still grotty SD on Freeview). Still will be HD through the Discovery+ app.

Interesting that the FTA coverage on Quest will now include the MotoGP Sprint Race on the Saturdays as well as coverage from *all* the BSB events. But as you say only in grotty SD so better to stream from the Discovery+ app if not on a TNT Sport channel.

Ah! So recordable in HD on the Youview box for those in IP mode? Bit of a bonus if you are, not so good if you're using the Freeview signal.
