BT sport ultimate

Hi I have a new TV and surround sound, I want to take advantage of bt sport ultimate. 4k and Dolby atmos.

Am I reading this correctly? I can’t just pay the £5 and access the Channel through my TV box, I would have to chromecast it from my phone onto the tv?

Seems rather ridiculous that you have to buy their top tv package with a lot of channels I won’t use to just get ultimate sport through my telly on my planner. Or buy a streaming device like a Chromecast.

If you have a BT TV Pro Box, you subscribe to just BT Sport and pay an extra £5 to upgrade to HD/Ultimate. If you don't have a Pro Box, the only other way is to subscribe via the app and watch it via Chromecast, Roku, or another device that has the BT Sport app available on it.
