BT Pro Box failure

A warning rather than a question.

My pro box has ‘died.’ It has happened before with an older box. Have lost all recordings including 39 unrecoverable full IPL matches.

Don’t rely on this box whatever the app says - the recordings are not recoverable says BT.

A new box is on the way, does anyone know if there is the potential for recovery before I send the old box back? I doubt it!

There's no way to retrieve the recordings from the box.

When you say the box has died, what do you mean? Won't turn on at all?

Thanks for responding. No it comes on and the front spins pink after a reset of both buttons. Maybe 5 minutes later a maintenance list appears and I have tried every option including full factory reset which I know would remove all the recordings butNothing happens.

It appears to have lost its wifi connection too.

Ah OK. If you've gone as far as a full reset now then nothing is going to get those recordings back I'm afraid, regardless of whether the box can be made to work again.
