BT Sport App Amazon Fire TV Stick not resuming

Hi, I'm using the BT Sport App on my Amazon Fire TV stick.

The problem i have is that if i start watching a programme on replay for example the 5hr long UFC show. When i exit the app and go back in (either instantly or at some other time) it does not allow me to resume from where I got to previously.

However, if I do exactly the same with my Samsung Tablet or Phone it allows me to resume from where i previously left of. Just as you would expect.

Any idea as to why this does not happen when using the app on Amazon FT Stick ? or how to fix ?

Very frustrating having to Fast Fwd within the app each time esp on a 5hr long programme which i watch in multiple stages.

Unfortunately the resume feature isn't available on any of our large screen apps, and there are currently no plans to add it.
