BT Sport app sound lag

When casting live footage through the Chromecast the sound is lagging about 5 seconds or so behind the picture.

I have tried from both my phone and tablet and on different Chromecasts around the house and it seems to be doing it on all.

I am currently running Android 12.

I've noticed this for over a week now , the sound is way behind the actual live footage .

I've got 3 chromecast devices in various rooms and it does the same with every television. Hopefully this can be fixed as it's getting rather annoying .

Are you still seeing this now @Brumod ? We had an issue that was fixed last week. If you're still seeing it, can you please confirm on which channel(s) and whether you're using an Android or iPhone device to start it?

Hi thanks for the reply .

Have tried the casting on BT 2 with the CFL and it seems to be working fine on that channel . I'll try it again tomorrow when tbe champions league matches are showing and if there's any further issues I'll let you know ..

This is happening again for me today Man City Vs Brentford on BT Sport 1 via Chromecast. Recurring issue - really irritating. Not a problem for any other streaming service.
