MotoGP replay can't fast forward

I'm trying to watch the replay of the MotoGP Qualifying from Australia this morning on the BTSport app on a Samsung "smart" TV, and whilst the content loads and plays, I can't fast forward through the 4 hour programme to get to where I want to start watching it. I click on to the fast forward and it shows me the time going up, but when I go back to play, it just plays from the beginning again!

Is this a known issue in the app, as it's not the first time that I've had it happen when trying to watch a replay? TIA

Had a quick tryout on my Samsung TV and yes @ShiftyNick experience is repeated.

Not a known issue. I'll raise with the Samsung Dev team. Can you please confirm which model of Samsung TV this is on (we support 7 years of Samsung TV, and every year they change the player, so they all behave differently).

So I've done the same on the race replay this morning, and fast forward does work on that programme!

TV is Samsung QE55Q80TATXXU, about 1 year old.
