Hi, I get the error message VP205 trying to watch content on bt sport through apple phone and iPad. It states that the content cannot be viewed outside the uk but I am in the uk!

Your current IP address used to be registered to a part of BT in America, but has recently been transferred to the UK.

I've raised a request for our location database to be updated - this may take a few days I'm afraid. I'll update as soon as I know more.

I was told that your issue was fixed last week. Is it still failing for you?

Hi, yes I still have the same problem - believing I am outside the uk. I spoke to Plusnet about it as well but they didn’t have a clue!

It does look to be a PlusNet fault - the IP addresses they're issuing to you are still registered in the US. We updated our database, however the registration wasn't updated so it didn't change the result.
We're pushing through a patch to enable your access for now, until the data can be fixed at source. It should be sorted this evening.
