Won’t let me cast to LGTV

Hi all I’ve recently just got a Chromecast (as I found out this is the only way to do this) to allow me to cast bt sport from my iphone to my LGTV but comes up with this message below, does it for live games only. Any help on this or is the Chromecast a waste of money as I only bought it for this reason??

Someone posted recently that the latest Chromecasts allow the BT Sport app to be downloaded directly onto it to make casting unnecessary.

Thanks buddy downloaded it on the chrome cast now works with live games

The screenshot that you've posted specifically says that you can install the app to get the full experience.
We'd appreciate any feedback on why that message wasn't clear enough.

Yes I did get that but I was abit annoyed that the casting element would not work!! But it’s all good now
