BT Sport Chromecast Audio Lag

This has happened to me before but it's always been fixed by essentially restarting the stream and the usual sort of things.

But absolutely nothing has worked today. The audio in City vs Newcastle is several seconds ahead of the video - apart from, bizarrely, at half-time in the studio when it was fine?!

I've checked the other BT Sport channels. Same problem in all of them as well.

Is this happening to anyone else and what is the fix?

Same, so bloody annoying, BT should get there house in order, considering the amount they charge

Thanks for reporting - we're now checking. Should be sorted in a few minutes.
We're not sure why just the Chromecast feed keeps dropping out of sync.

Appreciate your interest, but the game has ended! Shame this couldn't have been avoided 90 mins ago

Appreciate the response but I think BT need to be more proactive about this, given it is a known issue - particularly for big games. We've got big European football nights coming up this week and if the same thing happens again I'll be seeking compensation from BT.

Totally agree - we had guys monitoring it for every match for the last 2 weeks, but there appears to have been a communication breakdown as the guys on shift today didn't know about it.
We can and will do better.
