Apple TV 4k BT Sport Sound Issue

Basically, sound cuts out on the BT ultimate 4k coverage of sports. I have seen similar but not exact issues on the forums.

I have a Apple TV 4k box connected via ethernet with fast HDMI's to my Sonos Soundbar / LG 4k TV. I have Superfast BT 500mb full fiber and have no issues with other Apple TV Streaming Apps.

The sound cuts out at regular intervals and comes back for a short period. It is almost like its buffering when it does it. The picture is perfect.

If I disconnect the sound bar, it still happens through the tv sound. I've swapped out the HDMI's and it is still an issue.

This leads me to think its the app - is this an issue BT are aware of and is it going to be fixed. I'm paying for ultimate and i'm not getting what i pay for ultimately.

Had the same issue yesterday with AppleTV. Sound cuts out on the Ultimate stream - but is fine on BT Sport 1 (this was watching the City v Liverpool game yesterday).

I think it’s purely down to the 4k coverage that ultimate offers.

works fine on my phone / iPad on ultimate.
