Streaming error code - CM006

Hi, I have been struggling to stream but sport to a Sony Bravia 4K tv with chrome cast built in. I used to be able to press the stream icon on my iPad when in the bt app watching any of the sports channels and it would just connect, happy days. Recently, in the last couple of months I get the image on the screen, preparing to cast message and then error CM006 is displayed. I have tried searching for it but to no avail. What has changed to stop the app from streaming and is there a fix?

Got the exact same issue on both BT TV app and BT Sport app with Chromecast, I can no longer watch any channels on my 2nd TV despite being a BT TV a customer with large screen add on.

I should add I too am trying to cast from an iPad and iPhone with no success so perhaps this is an Apple iOS / Google Chromecast sync issue.

Have you tried installing the BT Sport app on your Android TV rather than casting to it? The virtual Chromecast receiver on Android TVs has issues with some of our content. We raised it with Google many years ago, but they haven't fixed it yet.

Thanks for your response, unfortunately the BT app doesn’t appear on the downloadable list

All Android TVs are supported, as long as the Google account is registered in the UK.
Find the BT Sport app on play.google.com, make sure you're logged into the web site with the same account you're logged into the TV with, and then click the button to install - it'll send the install request to your TV within seconds.

Fantastic thank you I have found the app and all is good. I don’t suppose you can offer a similar solution for an LG tv?

Afraid not - there's no app available for LG TVs.
