Im sure I read somewhere that if I downgraded my tv package, it would take effect from the next billing date and not straight away

Is this correct ?

Correct. You get to use what you've paid for right up until the end of when you've paid for it.

Just been on with BT chat and they have told me that any changes are instant - not happy

HI @andyw4466 are you on a flexible BT TV plan? If so you can change between the different TV plans every month. The change does happen straight away and the difference in price is refunded on the following bill when you downgrade to a cheaper plan.

Yes, on a flexible plan and thanks for the info.
I should of gone on the chat and confirmed before I downgraded.
Yeah, I see the partial refund as been applied to my next bill.
