BT Sport buffering on laptop

Hi All,

I paid £29.99 today for a one month subscription to watch the Champions league. There was constant buffering and I missed the first goal! I am watching on the BT player and have a windows 10 Asus laptop.

Any ideas?

Thanks for posting about the sports buffering. Are you a BT broadband customer? If so which hub are you using? Have you tried changing wireless settings?

I have Virgin fast broadband. I have tried reducing the bandwidth and resolution. I am using Chrome and have tried Firefox.?

We're not sure why, but the number of complaints similar to this has increased recently - possibly due to browser updates (as nothing at our end has changed for a while).
We should hopefully have a beta available next week with a significant performance improvement. I'll update here when it's ready.

Testing so far has proven very positive. We've included some customers in our testing who were having issues with the current player, and all responses so far have indicated an improved experience.

Playback was stable and no issues with quality dropping or performance either. Twas groovy
