4K not working

I recently purchased an Amazon firestick 4K compatible device for my 4K TV to watch my football matches in 4k. However, when I go onto device checked on the BT sport app, it says my fire tv or my tv is not able to display 4K. Any reasoning as to why?

Do you get an error number with the message and if so what is it and have you tried googling it

I don’t get any error number with the message unfortunately. I don’t pay for ultimate yet but I’m sure that isn’t the reason. Because it outrightly says my fire tv and tv is not able to display 4K which isn’t right

@Shifan786 Have you checked the display setting on your Fire Stick? You need to have it set at either Automatic ( up to 4K ) or 2160p in order for the BT Sport app to play 4K.
