Cancel BT Sport monthly pass

I'm trying to cancel my monthly pass but get the error message below. This doesn't nake sense as I have been a subscriber for a number of months if not years. Please can you advise.

Thanks for subscribing to BT Sport. You will be able to cancel when your first payment has processed. This usually takes less than 24 hours but may take longer. Please try sgain then.
