BT TV Sport Catch Up Error: "It's only available on your BT TV box."

I am new to BT TV - I have been used to watching BT Sport thru the BT Sport App .

I want to watch Moto GP on catch up on my laptop so I have gone to the BT TV 'Sport' tab and scrolled down to the Moto GP section. Then I have clicked on 'Moto GP Grand Prix of Italy' and chosen 'Moto3 race'.

I get a message saying "Sorry -
you can't watch
this on your device

It's only available on your BT TV box."

Why is this please?

Sometimes it's a rights issue. Sometimes it's just that the media isn't available in a format suitable for apps.
Are you able to find the same video on www.bt.com/sport/motogp ?

Thanks for your reply - yes I can get it that way.

Just a bit strange that the other way doesn't work!

It is rare, but we had to add that screen in the app specifically for situations like this.

Sport content is most likely going to be removed from the BT TV apps very soon anyway, so you're better off using the Sport apps and web site anyway.
