Subtitles on TNT Sport via Apps

I have Sports working via Discovery+ on phone, tablet and both our Smart TVs without problem.

There is a subtitle button on the TNT screen but all it does is confirm the language is English and that subtitles are OFF. There seems no way to turn this to ON.

BT's @DarrenDev advised some time ago that this may be developed but, as we're moving over Discovery+, I was hoping subtitles would become available.

Being deaf is frustrating especially as the commentary on BT Sports videos on YouTube appears to be excellent.

Have any of those forum members who are hearing impaired managed to turn on subtitles on TNT Sports?

This was one of the first things I raised when I saw the new app - it's very misleading, suggesting that subtitles are available. It's only when you view a different programme (where subtitles are available) that you see what the screen should look like.

So no - unfortunately there are still no subtitles available on TNT Sports.
