TNT activation and discovery+

I have been BT client for ever, I have the full BT Sport and Sky movies package. I have been trying to activate the discovery+ but I keep on receiving an error message that I haven’t activated my TNT account:

TNT Sports account not recognised

In order to gain access to discovery+ with your BT account you need to have an active subscription to TNT Sports.

I tried to call BT three times, each time on hold for 20-30 minutes. I gave up. This is ridiculous, the service is non existent and I can’t find a solution. I’ve been paying £90 per month and receive zero service

Hi @Dimitris1977,

Thank you for posting. I'm sorry if you're having problems activating discovery+.

Have you tried activating discovery+ using the link bt.com/sport/discovery-plus

If you click activate that should direct you to your My BT. In your products section it should show you if discovery+ is active and if not it should give you the option to activate.

It's worth mentioning that if you can't find the option to activate discovery+ in MyBT, then you can also now use www.bt.com/sport/activate-discovery-plus
This route was re-opened to everyone, due to all the issues with MyBT that are still being worked on. This route also has the advantage that it will specifically tell you if you're already activated.

I have used all standard processes. None of them works as TNT, not discovery+, TNT does not appear to be activated into my account in spite of paying BT Sports for a decade
