TNT Sports 1 Picture Quality - Again !!

I know this subject has been booted around before but I don't see a clear explanation as to why the picture (supposedly HD) is so poor on TNT Sports 1 through the BT Pro Box. Watching football on 03/02/24 the picture was really poor on my LG 55C3 OLED TV. My neighbour uses a Firestick and I checked his picture which was so much better - true HD - can anyone add any real reasons for this disparity ?

I take it you're watching through the EPG and not via the Discovery+ app. If so are you watching the SD channel on channel 408? The HD channel is on 430 and needs the HD add on to view. You can watch via the Discovery+ app and watch in HD without the need for the HD add on.
